I am a big believer in learning throughout one's life. As a result, I have taken college courses for almost 20 years. I have both a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Akron. I have experience tutoring students in middle school all the way through the postgraduate level. I love teaching and I enjoy being able to help students when the topic they are struggling with happens to coincide with topics that I'm an expert in. The majority of my tutoring experience is in the areas of math and science. I can tutor students in college algebra, trigonometry, algebra, linear algebra, differential equations, geometry, physics, pre-calculus, and calculus. My philosophy as a tutor involves having students actually perform what we talk about in class. This often involves having them teach me a topic because this shows that they really understand it. I also understand that even just being around the younger generation provides a teaching opportunity for me and a learning opportunity for them. I like to exercise the skill of teaching as much as possible because it allows me to share what I have learned throughout my life. Outside of school, I enjoy pro wrestling, Cleveland sports, and reading.
